Default Speaker sizes

Kinda new to this forum, so bear with me. I’ve got a ‘98 Ram SLT and I’m trying to figure out the speaker sizes. The previous owner replaced the pair in the crew cab doors and I think they’re 6 1/2s but not sure. They sound terrible though so I’d like to replac them and the speakers in the front doors. I don’t know what size they are though and have seen a lot of different answers with the little online research I’ve done. Also are there any more speakers in the back that I’m not aware of? I’m just going to replace them all.
Attached a photo of my Truck too.
Any feed back is much appreciated!

6" x 9" for the front doors and 6 1/2" for the rear doors. Welcome to the forum and good luck with your truck

What I did was mount extra 6x9s in the back under the seat using the door wires. So I have four 6x9s running. Well, one is blown, and two were stolen, but I'm getting it back slowly.

Nice truck but turn the tires around so we see the beautiful white BFG letters!!!

I was told with a little cutting you can put 6x9s in the doors, but do not know where to cut.

You also need to be careful of the magnet sticking into the door that it doesn't hit the glass. I had to move the speaker out some to clear it. I also modded my rear section to accept 10 inch sub where the rear arm rest was. Putting these on your speakers are a good idea, It keeps them dry from water getting in the door.

Shallow 6x9 were stock, not today's deep thumpers. You have to check the dimensions like on Crutchfield. Put it your truck and search for front speakers and it will select ones that fit fine. If you want to use a certain deep speaker, yes, you have to build it out from the panel.
