Question cluster swap

I'm doing a cluster swap in my 99 to a cluster with tach and need some info before I start tearing it up
1 dose year and motor matter
2 is there a way to clear the no bus code that shows from the new cluster and the abs light
3 can the mileage from the old cluster be showed instead of the mileage from the donor

1. As long as it's 99 and up
2. No that means that it's not compatible or your computer is bad or needs programmed
3. Computer needs programmed

ok so the old cluster I had worked perfect I'm changing it because I wanted the tach so the one I found is from a 2000 ram and when I put in my truck every gauge work excepted the oil pressure and fuel level gauges and the cluster said no bus and showed a ABS light so I'm going to guess that the cluster I found is broken and I'm going to need to find another one

also forgot to mention my truck is a manual would that effect the cluster at all ?
