Ok, so after x-mas, ill be getting a new muffler...But i can't really decide which 1. I'll either be getting a Flowmaster Super 40 series, or a Flowmaster 10 Series...From what i've read on the searches, the 10 series will be louder, but will it also get rid of to much backpressure with having a 2.50" exit?Or should i just go with the Super 40 series w/ the 2.25" exit. I Would like itto be loud...but if i have to ill settle w/ the 40 series, if the 10 series will make me lose alot of low end torque. Any help would be appreciated

 

super 40. it's plenty loud from what i hear rumblin around the threads and around town.

 

I'd probably go with the 10 series just as thats what I want to try due to hearing several people claim how good it is. I'm not sure which series Flowmaster I have right now.

 

I had some magnaflows installed today...(they dump btw) I didnt want something so loud it would be annoying when I didnt want to hear it so Iwent with the magnaflows... They have a deeper sound and they arent near as loud as the flowmasters...Sounds great though... If you just want a loud *** muffler... I would go with the flowmasters.

 

Just put a single delta flow 40 on mine in place of the stock and it sounds great. It is loud when I hit it and quiet as stock or better going down the highway plus dropped about 200 rpm's at highway speed.

 

I say flowmaster... 40 series 3" in dual 2 1/4" out... it'll keep low end if you need it (for a big truck 4x4 QC etc) or 2 1/2" outs for anything less than that...
