Hello everyone, I'm having some issues out of my 2001 Dodge Ram 1500 V8 5.9 Liter Magnum truck. I went to replace the rear taillights out for some aftermarket and noticed that the brake lights were not working. Seems like the one light that was working on each taillight operated as brake light and turn light and I had never noticed since I have only had the truck about 2 years. I got everything hooked up right for the new lights its just a plug and play, but brake lights don't light up at all and when my headlights are off the turn signal works fine, when the headlights are on the signal makes a fast sound like the lights are burned out even though they are not and it flashes fast. Just want to get the brake lights to work and for my turn signal to work correctly rather the headlights are on or off. Any help would be appreciated, thank you!

What kind of aftermarket lights? Do they have separate brake and turn signal lights, or are they in same filament?

 

PAIR BLACK HOUSING SMOKED LENS 3D LED BAR TAIL LIGHTS LH+RH FOR 94-02 DODGE RAM tried to link it, but link didn't appear to be working. Lights are on Ebay. They have an LED bar, for at night to give it a 3d affect, and had separate filament for brake light.

I have them same lights but chrome. Mine worked fine
