Finally after some looking I found some good links that should satisfy all arguements as long as people can read charts.

Off-Road Group
--- Includes the Heavy-Duty Service Group, limited-slip rear differential, unique suspension, special skid plates, tow hooks, 4.10 axle ratio, fog lamps, special graphics, off-road tires, and 17" cast aluminum wheels
The following is for a 2001 2500 truck:

Unfortunately this site only lists options for 2001 trucks and 2003-2005 but the 2001 options should help everyone out.

You don't have a vertical cooler on the right side of your radiator? Maybe it's in a different location on the 98+ gen 2s. [>:]

I wouldn't get the 5.9L in a 2500 for towing. I'm not overly thrilled with the power of it in my 1500 and definately not with the gas milage. I wish I had of kept looking and gotten a diesel. Thats what I wanted but never found one I liked in good shape so gave in and bought a gasser. The V10 also gets the same to better gas milage than the 5.9L. I would go with either of those over the 5.9L but preferable the diesel especially if your going to be towing.
My dad has had 3 v-10s since 95. The first was a 95 reg. cab 4x4 and got between 11-12 mpg and occasionally 13 mpg. Had a 96 flat-bed dually that got between 10-11mpg and a 98 ext. cab 4x4 that got between 10-11mpg. Loved them all but switched to the diesel in 01 and 03 (hoping for better mileage). All had 3.55 gears and plenty of power. The 98 was also an auto with over 70,000 miles and never had a bit of trouble except for the thermostat. Pulled many heavy loads with it also. Unfortunately the tranny fluid was never changed either which just goes to show that dodge does build some good trannys.
