Ah, thanks. I think more clips helps keep it tight to the bumper. Of course, if they just snap off....

I thought the factory bumper was ugly and hated the fog lights in the middle. Was going to get an aftermarket bumper from LMC (was like the sport bumper but chrome) and ended up doing a 4th gen PW bumper and even put the hidden winch behind the bumper like the PW

I picked up both pieces locally a few days ago. I bought some urethane paint and shot the bottom piece, top piece was ready to go. Then installed the bottom piece... well, tried to install it. Quality of the melting of the posts on the connectors was poor. I couldn't get more than one connector to click into the bumper. So, I started looking at how I could fix this thing... I used my cutoff disc to trim down the melted plastic. Then tried to reinstall, still had issues. I pulled it off again, will try more manipulation tomorrow. Why I cannot buy stuff that just works like it should... applying creativity to get bolt-ons to ... bolt on, is ridiculous.

Not sure the top piece is the right size either... but one problem at a time...

When I looked into it for you before my manufactures each one has a different pin count so I wonder if they just had the wrong info... Upgrade your bumper man

I have one that doesn't have the extra clips. The bumper is made for the 13, has all the right slots. I got most of the clips to lock in, however not happy with the sloppy fit.

Someone was posting a stock bumper with factory plastic, picture looked good... maybe just go grab that... day job going to take all the focus again this week... will try to get back on it this weekend.

Good news, I had gone back to the place where I bought the lower valence and showed him how bad it fit, a couple weeks ago. He ordered a replacement and got it almost immediately but I didn't get back there right away.... went back today and he handed me a CAPA certified part - no charge - and I tried it right there- fits like a glove and doesn't need painted.

So word to the wise, get the CAPA certified parts.
