I think somebody else on here just had this problem. They were somehow getting air into the fuel lines, so when the pump kicked on it lonly pumped air for a few seconds. The fuel rail is suppose to hold presssure in these for quite a while I think. So something wrong there. Theres a valve on the fuel pump unit that needs to be replaced, and I guess its ALOT easier to just buy the whole new unit.

I think its something like that

where do you live? is it a very cold climate? my truck starts VERY easy in cool to warm weather..anything below 35 and its a cold blooded b*tch... a cold start battery..like an optima fixes the problem ...any battery with a high value of CCA (cold cranking amps) anything above 700 would be fine...

oooooooohhh yea... VERY COLD!!!!! a cold climate bettery would help out BIG TIME!!! also a block heater... either the freeze plug design or the oilpan pad desighn will work... the pad design is ALOT easier to install and is less of a pain if it fails on you... woudnt hurt to look into it!
