Unhappy 1995 Dodge 3500 shutoff solenoid

So been having problems with the fuel shut off solenoid i changed it out yesterday thinking it was bad whats going on is i have to get out of my truck push the lever up manually to get it to lock in place in order to start my truck but when i run the truck for awhile then i have to get someone to hold it up till it locks in place and keep holding it until i start it and let it run for a second if not it will just fall back down stuck on what to do daily driver so need help asap please

There's a two big relays just above the engine, next to a brake booster. One is for fuel heater and the other one is for fuel solenoid. Swap them around and see what happens.

the truck will still start if i push it up manually without those
