Default Noise like chain dragging

My 2000 Dodge ram 2500 makes a sound I can only describe as a chain dragging on the ground it’s intermittent seems to have something to do at the suspension like going over bumps but not always it’s loud enough to hear over the diesel. Someone thought it was a wheel bearing but mechanic couldn’t find anything wrong nothing obviously loose I was thinking maybe worn bushings but no idea i’m pretty sure it’s coming from the front end
Thanks for any suggestions

Check the driveshaft and front axle shafts if you have 4wd and see if something is rubbing on them.

Could be parking brake pads as well. Sometimes they start delaminating and parts break off causing noise.

Possibly a heat shield rattling? Video of the noise would help.
