Changing front shocks
I have a 1999 2nd gen dodge 2500 with the 8.0 and I was changing my shocks and got the passenger side done but when I went to do the driver side I noticed that the master cylinder was in the way from removing the shock completely, please help any advice would be greatly appreciated

Yep, very little wiggle room.
I'm not sure how you are going at it, but try removing the whole top mount with the shock as a unit and disassemble outside of the truck. The 3 mounting bolts are easier to get at. That method worked best for me.
