Does anyone know if they make projector headlights for a 2nd gen ram? the ones like BMW halo or something? Where can I find them?

 

that would be very cool! I spent some hours over ebay looking for that but nope

 

The only thing I've found, and installed, were the clear lens euro type for the Sport model. As for the projector type, one would think the powers that be would make them because of the high volume of 2nd Gen rigs on the road.

 

I highly doubt you will ever see projector headlights produced for a 2nd gen Ram. There just aren't enough people that want to modify them with something like that.

And forgetting that, it would just be kind of hard to design one that would fit well in the same area that the stock headlight is designed to fit.

You could try building a set yourself. A guy in the Grand Prix community built a set for his 01 Grand Prix. They looked pretty nice. I believe he sold the car since but kept the headlamp capsules. You can **maybe** find some info on them if you search the forum: www.clubgp.com

 

best thing to do is an HID upgrade...as opposed to projector headlights....

 

the only known headlight upgrade for us second geners is to replace the bulbs, or swap in the sport headlights. i've spent countless hours between classes searching and finding nothing. they love to make taillights though for some odd reason...

 

HID headlamps/conversions/kits/etc. are illegal in several states. The only way you can legally get away with having a vehicle equipped with them is if it's factory equipment. Just an FYI

 

just today i was told that you can now order projector headlights for 2nd rams... i'll check more into it and see if it's for real... i'll let you all know as soon as i do...

 

also in Italy is illegal to put a HID in a vehicle without automatic headlight tilt regulation!

but here it's almost everything llegal! [:@] haha

 

Thats because the competition never see's us coming but they see us going....lol
