I've got a squeeking/chirping sound coming from the front of my motor. It goes away with a raise in rpm, and returns at idle. Is it a bad pulley, or belt?

 

Go to Auto Zone and get some belt dressing, spray some on the groove in the pulley for your fan (watch your hands) and watch for spray in your eyes. If that takes care of the problem, it may have been some foreign material on your belt, if it doesnt then it may be your belt tensioner, you can try and loosen it up with some penetrating oil on the spring and work it back and forth like your changing a belt.
