Default 2001 dodge ram1500 overheating and heat in cab problem ?

My truck overheats and I change out the thermostat and at idle it will still overheat to 260 range but when I drive it cools right off idk what could be wrong. And the heat in cab doesnt get warm unless I'm driving and at a stop or park it will blow cool air till I start driving also when I go in to overdrive my blower makes noise like it's working but air wont come out till I let off the gas any ideas?

With the thermostat out and it overheating but cooling when you move, make sure the cooling system is full. If it is, I'll bet the impellers are eroded from your water pump and it isn't circulating coolant.
