Default Shocks

Hey guys, I just bought some Rancho 9000 shocks at a local store that's having a sale on them. The shocks were brand new but the boxes were covered in dust, they had been sitting a while for sure. The question is there any reason to worry about how long they sat?

The internals are what break down with usage. Within reason, I wouldn't worry about some dust on the boxes. The warehouse I work in, we get a dust layer on stuff that's only a week old.
