Well I dropped the pan replaced the governor solinoid and pressure sensor along with the 3-4 act. spring. I did not tighten the bands. I chickened out. Even though it looks pretty easy. Topped off the fluid in neutral with the truck running. Seemed to really help the issues. It no longer revs before engaging in 1st or reverse. Also seems to be shifting on point. In all honesty I think it might have just been low on fluid. The previous owned just replaced the trans pan. I don't know if he checked it with the truck in neutral or not. I put about 5-6 qts in when I went to refill everything.
