Doing front Brakes on 2001 Ram 2500 V10
Sonny Boy likes to drive !!
Anything out of the Ordinary I need to know before I change out the front pads? I've done brakes on all my cars trucks and motorcycles. just wanting to know if there's any tricks I should know?
Thanks !!
When I did mine, it was pretty bolt on and conventional. I would suggest using the standard pads and just have the rotor turned. Although for me it took a bit longer as the replaceable items are a bit larger than on a regular vehicle.

My 2000 had 12 point bolt heads for the caliper adapter retaining bolts. I cracked two 12point sockets getting them loose. I finally got a really long breaker bar and stood on it - no jumping.... finally let loose without cracking the socket.
ahhh, memories....
