Default Exhaust Pipe Gauge??

1995 Dodge Ram 1500 4wd 5.9L
Does anyone know the gauge of steel that the stock exhaust pipe is for my truck. Trying to set my welder up and wanted to know for sure the gauge.
Thanks!

Try welding some scrap pieces together, Then you can set the welder to the appropriate settings.

generally about 16. you want to wirebrush the mess out of it beforehand so you get good penetration and don't blow through it. I'd start a little low, then increase until you get the bead laying flatter. would not try to lay a long bead, lots of smaller tacks - then unify them.
