Engine swap

I have a 89 Dodge Ram that I inherited with thousands of dollars in upgrades to the engine and tranny but the rest has seen better days, I have the exact opposite problem with a 2001 ram 1500. Does anyone know if I can drop the 89 engine and tranny into the 2001?

No. It's possible but will trade fabrication skills and a deep wallet.
