Default Gauge cluster calibration

Hey guys! Well I went to change out my gauge lights and low and behold i now have a problem with my speedometer..... Went to take the front face off of the cluster and I had to take the needles off, well now my speedometer is WAYYYYY off. It basically stops moving at 50mph on the gauge when really i'm going about 70mph... i never was able to scrape off the green tint off of the face because i couldn't get it off! Needless to say i'm regretting that I even started this project.... does anyone know how i could re calibrate my cluster?
