So couple weeks ago my blower motor went out and so did the blower motor resister. I installed both a new motor and resister and was working perfect. Past two days the blower motor has a high pitch whine especially on second fan speed, it's not like super loud but the sound is noticeable. Have a feeling I know what it could be, but like to hear what other people are thinking. Its a brand new motor so wouldn't think anything be bad with it.

 

Is it from Advanced? If yes, it's probably the new motor.

 

My replacement motor is much noisier than the original. It's probably remaned so it's a crap shoot. Might be sold as "new" but I doubt anybody's actually building new parts for a 20-yr old truck.
