this is an unfairly outdated opinion, but i bought a chilton's manual for my old chevy a long time ago. it was terrible and i've never bought a chilton's manual since.
I prefer my haynes to a chiltons, my friend has the chiltons and a couple times has borrowed my haynes because he didnt understand the chilton or it wasnt working like supposed too
Yeah a little old post but i have the haynes, i hate how vague it is, "TAKE IT APART AND PUT IT BACK TOGEATHER" < pretty much what it says most of the time.
i have a haynes book but it doesnt tell us what we need to know bout the tranny n doesnt show us what we need to see. ihave 2 other downloaded but trying to find another one. basically, we found the acummulator piston spring was broken. we going to get a new one. shifting from 1st to 2nd fine but 2-3 or 3-4 isnt working to good but once we adjust the rear band cause its loose n put new spring in, it should work.
