What‘a up everybody, recently had a shop install a new auto tranny in my 99 ram 5.2. While it was in there I had them do the back freeze plugs also. I received the truck back and it had a leak coming from the tranny pump, along with a squeal when accelerating. So they gave me a new transmission, and I’m having the same problem with the squealing. I never had this problem before, and it only happens when accelerating. Belt and tensioner are good!

I put it up on jack stands and went underneath it. The tail shaft seal has a slight leak, sounds like the squeal is coming from there.
