Default 99 Dodge Ram Wipers were stuck in snow- now only have low speed

99 Dodge Ram 2500. The other day I tried to put the wipers on and they didn't move. I had cleared the snow but I guess not enough because I jerked on them and they started working but only in low speed. Delay doesn't work and high stops the wipers wherever they are. I had recently replaced the multi-function switch and today replaced the motor with one I had at the house. Still the same. Disconnected batteries in the hopes it might reset the module. Any ideas?

First thought is the multi-function switch is bad. Most new parts are a crap shoot for quality. Throw the old on or try another new one. Just a bent rod wouldn't make it run it low versus delay, etc.

Ramman, you are the hero of the day! I went back out and threw the old switch back on and now it works. Bought it from NAPA and have had good luck in the past but anything can go bad. Will replace it tomorrow. The old one wouldn't work the wipers when the temp dropped into the 20's.
Thanks again!
Steve

You're welcome! Although, it's just my experience that the simplest or most immediate answer is usually correct, no matter the logical circumstances. Glad you figured it out!
