2007 Dakota intermittent won't start
I have a 2007 Dakota. It has 204,000 miles. Occasionally when trying to start after I get to destination my truck will crank but not run when starting so I can leave. After about 10 seconds the starter stops cranking by itself. Several more tries and it still won't. Sit 5-10 minutes and sometimes it will start, sometimes it won't. It is not throwing any codes at all. I have replaced starter, and key ignition switch with new key and the ignition switch on other side of steering column. When I crank motor the tach is registering a signal. I have heard bad computer, fuel pump. Don't want to throw parts at it! Has anybody seen this issue or have any paths or tips I can try??
I really appreciate any help I could get!
Thanks

I am having the same issue with my2008 Dodge Dakota. I've changed the fuel pump relay and the crankshaft sensor but neither have solved the problem. If I stop it and attempt to start within about 10 to 15 minutes it will not start. If it sits a while longer it will start fine. Otherwise the engine runs fine all other times. I have just found out if I squirt a shot of starting fluid into the air cleaner it will then start. Have you ever found any possible solutions to this issue. Thanks.
