Default Can't find brake controller factory harness(99 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 5.9)

So in all these videos I'm seeing that the factory harness for brake controller is a 4 pin blue connector
all I have is this black one that's attached to the dash
Update: after messing with the wires down there my truck won't crank.
Touched a wire from my battery to the starter connector and it started right up
Gotta love my Dodge

That is IF you have the factory tow package, If not you have to wire it up yourself.

The factory tapped into the brake switch so it would work with the brake controller. You need to do the same and add the power cables and a wire running back to the connector for the trailer(brake). Yes it's a pita!

On my 2001 2500 the connector is in a somewhat hidden spot behind the wiring bundle from the large white connector. I had to remove the white plug to get to it. The truck did not come with a factory tow package either, the wiring ended at the connector under the left rear cab corner... doh.
