Default Half ton and 3/4 ton bumper question

Hello everyone
wondering if someone can help me out.
I'm looking into getting a winch bumper for my truck
i have a 96 1500 4x4. This bumper was off a 2001 3/4ton diesel
Is the front end of these trucks similar for mounting locations? Or would I have to do some messing around to get this thing to work.?
thanks guys

Frame width is the same, bolt punchouts look the same, I'd say you can make it work. Good luck.

Sweet! Ya this bumper is the next city over but may be worth the drive for it. Just wanted to make sure it's somewhat close without wasting time
thanks

but is the frame width the same ? The bumper has the plate mounts spaced below it already as long as the frame width is the same I guess I could bolt it at different locations on the frame then
