Default swapped 5.2l magnum, misfire at 1800-2200

would appreciate some input.... completed engine swap in a 1994 1500 4x4 w/ 5.2l magnum. have a bad misfire at 1800-2200 rpm. timing light shows a jump to 180 degrees off during misfire. its not very consistent. happens at all temps . swapped in a 2001 long block...all of my research indicates same cam profiles for both years. all electronics have been transfered from 1994 motor.

did you do the swap yourself?

I recall reading a thread a while back where the flex plate got damaged during the install and the crank sensor was not working correctly... take the inspection plate off and look at the flex plate. did you use the old flex plate? you might want to compare p/n's to verify there is no difference.
