Default Looking to reflash PCM

So I'm looking to use an engine and PCM out of a 2nd gen ram in another dodge project. The engine/computer/wiring are out of a 2001. I would like to flash the computer to have a manual transmission. What software is used to rewrite the PROM? I'm fine buying some software or hardware to do this, and possibly other changes in the future for this and other projects.

Any help or direction is appreciated.

Your best bet is a member here named HeyYou if he doesn't know I don't think anyone does. I know I don't

I'll shoot him a message.

I mostly want to make sure the engine runs fine. If I can leave the PCM with the auto tuning I don't actually care if there is a check engine light, provided it doesn't impact the running of the engine.

You could also consider purchasing a used PCM for a late model 2nd gen that had a manual transmission in it. You can find them on www.car-part.com, www.ebay.com and other sources.
