Default Negative cable locations
I have a 99 Ram 1500 5.2L, and I need to figure out where my negative cables go to. They got pulled out of the way in an engine replacement and I can’t figure it out by the schematics. One comes from the Power Distribution Center, the other from the battery itself. They are wrapped together.

You should have no negatives coming from the PDC those are both power. One goes on the frame rail an the other goes to the engine (power steering mount bolt

So does the black wire coming from the PDC goes to the Alternator?
