front hanger flip
i have a 98 2wd Ram and I want to lower the back a little to level the stance. I thought about lowering shackles and can't bring myself to spend the $50 for them when they are going to make the pinion angle more severe. I was looking at the front hanger and it looks like it could be flipped over and bolted back on using the stock holes in the frame which might lower the back an inch or so. I was wondering if anyone had tryed this. My only concern is that the hangers wouldn't be structurally sound this way. I am an engineering student so i think about things like this. I don't usually hall heavy loads but i am rough on my truck. Thanks for any input.
yeah i have seen them but they are like $20 for a pair i would like to do this as cheap as possible. I know it really isn't a lot of money but i have no income being a college student (not an excuse just a preference).
