Try some of that foam carpet cleaner stuff from the auto stores, i think its in a yellow can. Might take a little scrubbing but it should take all that out pretty easy. Or if you want to spend the cash theres this thing my father uses, i believe its called a tornado, that works miracles on carpet and seats

Definitely works good! That said i usually just run the shop vac through the carpet unless i got something nasty in it
