I have had both, as for comfort, I prefer the quad cab, but coming from Ford to a Dodge it seems that the regular cab is larger on the inside than a reg cab Ford but now that my kids are grown and i really don't haul anything or anyone, I am sticking with the Reg cab, shortbed, with the storage bin behind the seats, cause hey they look sweet and they dont look like the family truck.

My wife calls my truck pimped out........lol

If he is looking to get an off road package ram, which it sounds like he is from his posts, there is no point in arguing over long or short bed. Only short beds get the off road package.

I agree with ya'll about the quad-cab. I am going to wait and find one. But as for the regular cab short bed off-road dodge truck is still for sale. If any of ya'll are interesting in it just send me a pm or email and I'll give you the guys number. Here are some details.
2001 Dodge Ram 4x4 w/off-road pkg
reg cab short bed
keyless entry, infinity sound system
compass above rear view mirror
Its pretty loaded out, I think that it has everything besides leather. The guy is asking his payoff of 12,500. The only reason I'm not getting it is because of three things I can't afford at the moment.
1. It needs tires
2. Drivers side power seat is broken
3. The tailgate has pretty good dent in it

but other than these things Its in remarkable shape with only 47K miles. I personally drove the truck and it is extremely stout. I was surprised. Its completely stock too, factory exhaust and intake, no tint...etc. So if anyone is intersted holler at me and I will give you his number, and I've also got some more pics of it that I can post, especially the tailgate. I'm gonna be gone until wed night. I'm going on a hog hunt in Oklahoma for a few days. The truck is located in Russellville Arkansas btw. Later guys. -Tyler

I spotted a white quad cab with the off-road pkg yesterday. It looked pretty sweet from the road. Its a 00-01 with the sport pkg. I'm gonna look at it after I get back from Oklahoma.
