Will a 98 ecm/ecu work on a 95 dodge ram 1500?

No 95 is OBD1 and 98 is OBD2

I have op the simple answer I remember working on my dad's old cars (pre OBD1) then when OBD2 came out I changed with the times well he did not lol still prefers his Power Wagon over his 4th gen

As has been stated, the 98 PCM will not work. Find the part number of your PCM and search for that same part number for a good used one. You should easily be able to find one via car-part.com, ebay.com, etc.
