Hey everyone, I've recently come across a 1998 Dodge V10 8.0L engine and in order to get someone to ship it I need to know the dry weight. I've looked all across the web to try and find the dry weight but I've had no luck, so I've come here to see if anyone here knows the dry weight. I would appreciate any feedback as soon as possible. Thank you.

P.S. - If anyone here knows the exact dimensions of the engine (Height, length, width) it'd be MUCH appreciated if you could help with those too.

 

Lots of variables determine that number. Cab configuration, bed length, 2 or 4 wd, manual, automatic, etc.

 

It's a ton long bed dually truck it was pulled from, 4wd, and it was a manual transmission pretty sure. I'm planning on putting it into my 1/2 ton 5.2L 1997 Dodge Ram 1500.

 

I'm assuming that you are looking for just the weight of the Dodge V10 truck engine without fluids? If so, the listed weight of the Dodge truck V10 motor is between 816 - 836 pounds. Go with the higher number for the shipping estimate and you should be golden.

 

My bad, I thought you meant the whole truck....not just the engine. Sorry.
