Squealing Serpintine on 5.9...Again
'96 1500 Ram...179000 miles
165000 idler & tension pulleys & belt.
173000 replaced belt with Gates K070976 as the old belt was squealing (I read online that Gates belt are less prone to squealing.)
Drove on a snowy day last week and belt began squealing (and continues to squeal) with only 6000 miles.
My old truck sounds like it is ready for the scrap heap.
Any suggestions to this annoying problem?

Check every pulley for wear. Spin all the accessories and wiggle for play. Check alignment of all pulleys.
If all is good, take a pick or flat head screwdriver and clean every pulley's ribs with brake cleaner. Install new belt.

I will check all pulleys for wobble and also clean the pulleys.
There are no known leaks, but I will look again as soon as this weather system passes.
I do not think that I replaced the tensioner.
Thank you for the suggestions and I will post what I find.
