Default I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 5.2l

I have a 2001 dodge ram 1500 5.2l 2 wheel drive extended cab . I've been told by my local dealer that my three cat system isn't manufactured anymore...what can I do to turn 4 o2 sensors into 2???

You have california emissions truck and I believe they are still being made in the aftermarket

Rock Auto has them and so does Magnaflow. Spendy though. I think I would have someone weld the extra bungs on a set of federal cats.

Depends on where the OP lives. In smog-**** states the truck has to keep the three cat configuration *and* the replacements have to be CARB certified $$$. Other places don't even have emissions testing so pretty much anything goes. I've never heard of the mini-cats go bad so it might be sufficient to replace the downstream cat.
