Default 46re doesn’t come out of drive

I recently rebuild the transmission, replaced the torque converter, and crankshaft positioning sensor. Now the transmission doesn’t come out of drive. The selector can be in reverse...moves forward. Neutral...moves forward. And of course when in drive it moves forward, yes the shift linkage is connected and adjusted properly. I’m thinking it’s an electrical issue but it’s not giving any codes. Transfer case is locked in 4low, pretty sure that has a lot to do with the transmission being stuck in drive. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Doesn't sound like it. With the linkage disconnected count the divots from first(1) then move it till you get to drive-neutral. IF is adjusted correctly sounds like a valve body issue. Did you take that apart/clean?

The transfer case is controlled by the 4WD shifter and shouldn't be causing your 'stuck in drive' issue. As mentioned, you should re-check your transmission linkage for that issue. For the stuck in 4Lo issue, it sounds like you have a separate issue with the 4WD shifter or its linkage. If your 4WD shifter isn't in the best shape, you can read about how to deal with it here - https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...e-shifter.html
