Door locks have been randomly cycling for years now and possibly the root cause of all my pcms goin bad. Took apart driver door. On the back of the lock cylinder is a sensor/switch with 2 wires, 1 black, 1 green. If u look at this thing wrong the locks cycle. Verrrry carefully take the one off the passenger lock cylinder. Its held onto it w a "W" clip, (kinda like a transmission clip/retainer but not so many bends in it). Swap it onto the driver side lock cylinder. O wait the harnesses r different. All good, pull the white retaining tab out of the connection, pop up the 2 tabs on top of the contacts, then pull the wires from the back. Put the driver harness connector onto ur new disarm switch n put back together. Done. No more cycling locks. No goin to dodge cuz they discontinued the part, let alone the whole door wiring harness. Part number for driver side is 56045449aa, passenger side is 56045450ab. Wondering if the locks repeatedly grounding out is what's been fryin all my pcms.....hope this helps somebody! Back of "disarm switch" thats on the back of lock cylinder Side view of lock cyl and disarm switch Pass side part number *discontinued* and the only way i was able to get driver side part number (droppin the sequence # by 1 digit) Top view of cyl w disarm switch
