Default Had a temporary sputter issue today...

Went to swing by work to sign some papers. When I got a few miles down the road, the truck started to sputter a bit when I tried to accelerate. Worse at a stop light. It got worse as I went. Got on base, and swung into the gas station. Since the tank was near empty, I thought I'd try some fuel injector cleaner and a tank full of the premium. Shut the truck off at the pump, praying that it would fire back up. Added the cleaner and fuel, and crossed my fingers. Fired it up and waited. It sputter for about 10 seconds, and then cleared up. Ran fine the rest of the way to work and back.

I'm thinking some slight condensation in the tank?

Yesterday. I drove the truck an extra few miles after the low fuel light came on, and got the same sputtering, no power, crawl down the street thing happening again. Gotta be something in the tank. Besides dropping it down and flushing it, anyone have any other sufggestions to clear it up? I'm thinking some water in there.

It could be a dyin fuel pump. The same thing happened to me until it finally let go. My tank was fine and there was no water it just died a slow death. When the tank is full it doesn't have to work as hard to pump fuel do to the weight of the fuel creatin pressure.
