Default Arcing or battery corrosion?

Recently noticed my battery had a bad leak and it was getting stuff all over that side of the engine compartment. Switched out the battery and tried to clean the corrosion. But my question is all this white stuff on the plug wires and boots is this from battery corrosion or are my wires arcing?

the side opposite the battery isnt having this problem

Have you checked to see if the wires/plugs are arcing while it's running?

I'd suspect that its from the battery corrosion blowing onto the silicone plug wires. You can check to see if arcing is occurring by opening the hood and watching the plug wires with the engine running at night (be sure to disconnect the underhood light, so its dark under the hood to see any possible spark plug wire arcing).
