Default RE: Throw out bearing

I posted up a thread asking for some help with that part and no one answered even after I bumped the thread with some info.....it made all my tranny problems dissapear....I had some rattling when I let it coast in 4th gear, I could feel some parts rubbing and now its gone...3rd gear would make some noise when coasting to a deceleration point, all that is gone now.....amazing what a $12 part can do.....keep in mind that is doesn't come in the clutch kit, you will need to get the part from the stealership and don't be suprised when they are suprised......its listed with the pilot bearing, won't show the part in their computer, but its listed when you list pilot bearings...

thats what i followed to try to install this thing. I was beating it into the crank and it never budged. it did tear up the bearing though.
where does that sleeve go?
does the bearing get recessed in the small hole? or does the sleeve hold it in the large hole in front of the small hole?

sorry if that didnt make any sense

thats my half assed text illustration of a side cut away of the crank. does the bearing sit inside the hole (1) or does that sleeve hold it in the larger opening (2)

Thanks
Chris
EDIT- added periods to make picture work. ignore them.

so i went and ordered the bearing and sleeve assembly. This makes sense now. in my little text picture it is on number "2"
fills up the entire hole in the crank.
i have pics if anyone wants em.
