Frame repair? I think she's pretty pretty much scrap at this point, no?

What do you think? Took the bed off to get the crossmember out that was rotted and broken and found this. I really think a previous owner used to back it all the way in to the bay for a boat or jetski or something. I think it's over, but before I head to the scrap yard... Thought I'd affirm here first.
Thank you!

IF the rest of the frame is good I would patch it or Grand swap it if the body is good. Now if trucks are cheap near you I would scrap it

I'll post some more pics then. I'm at a crossroads. I don't have the means, know how, or time really, to do frame work, or to restore a truck. Problem is I love this truck. Been considering getting a loan for something newer.
Driver and passenger side have typical rot by the wheels, passenger rocker panel is gone. It has small dents here and there but they don't bother me. There's a ton of small things wrong with it.
Wipers go on with the left blinker for some reason, pretty sure the flex plate is cracked again I know that sound. Heater core is clogged, ac doesn't work (bad compressor). There's probably more.

Anyone here more capable then me (most or all of you I'm sure) looking for a project? It's on Long Island. Scrap vehicles are I believe .21 a pound at Gershow (our local recycler) so I'm guessing $900-$1000 I would get.

Looks like a classic candidate for a body swap, and a frame swap

Unless you want to part out anything that is still good beforehand, I’d just take the scrap money.
