I can not get a clear definition of how loud flowmasters are......i went to the sight and theres a million different series....the two that i seem to see around this forum are the 40 and 50 series. Im looking for something that you can just hear a low rumble at idle but is def. noticable at WOT. will the 50 get me this or is it to close to stock sounding? i know 40's are loud..but honestly i think there to loud at WOT....granted i dont use it that much but i would prefer to go with to quite then to loud. Am i right about which ones are louder...anyother thoughts?

 

Yeah the 40's are more louder than the 50 series. The 50 series has more tone control, where as the 40 series is a more agressive street tone.

I have 40 delta flow on mine and at idle it has a low rumble and at about 2 grand it is definatly talking to ya but at normal cruising on the highway (15 to 16 hundred) it is quiet just a low growl I like it!!

 

There is also a 10 series that people like but it is supposed to be as loud as straight pipes just a differn't tone so I think it might be too loud for you.
