Probably some older Skyjacker lift, judging by the red components. They do have upper control arm relocation brackets but hard to say if the brackets are original, could be somebody made some beefed up ones.

should I try to remove them? Or just let em ride?

steering on this truck is beyond ****ty, so I've been trying to get everything replaced but this has stumped me.
