Default Quality Header Gaskets

I'm looking for good quality header gaskets for the 5.2 engine. Mine have blown out and I want to replace with some good quality gaskets and stage 8 locking bolts. I don't want to have to mess with them again. I can't find any at local auto parts stores here in Austin, TX area...

Any ideas appreciated.

I have the Napa brand on there and they seem to be doing fine. the originals from gibson were also good. since my headers are "broken in" they dont need much to seal but a decent gasket like the napa one.

I used the ones that came with my JBA headers. They looked to be quality gaskets, not paper. I took the truck to my mechanic today, the same one that installed the headers/exhaust. He said the driver side forward exhaust port (#1?) was not seating good. He used some exhaust sealant to help the leak. They couldn't find gaskets thru their local supplier.

I would like to put double copper on each side. I think doubling them up should help.

Where did you purchase your NAPA's from? We have Autozone, Oreilly and Advance in the area. Don't think they carry any....

I just checked online for their stock. Guess I'll have to spend time running around to find them. I would rather just order some good quality ones from Summit or somewhere.

I'll try Advance, Autozone etc. today and see what I can find...

Napa is the shop name, they have a their own brands that they sell (made by someone else i'm sure). mine that has been on there for a while now and is still sealing pretty good.

if you cant find any local, then i'd go to summit racing and see if they can get a felpro gasket.

For exhaust headers go for Percy's dead-soft aluminum. Won't burn or blow out.. And.....are reuseable. Use the small chrysler listing, it will fit. Summit # PHP-66037 $34.95
