Problem solved at last. It was a FMX20 fuse in the main power dist. box under the hood. The fuse was not blown, it was corroded inside where the connection is made from box to fuse. Replaced it with a $5.00 fuse and good to go! Many thanks to those who helped me figure this thing out!!!!!!!

My truck done the same thing. I got to doing some investigating on my own. The bulbs must have really gotten hot at one point or another because when i inspected the bulbs the contact wires melted into the plastic on the bulbs. I simply dug the contact wire out, cleaned them up (scraped them with my pocket knife) and cleaned the contacts on the socket and presto. Didnt cost me a thing minus about an hour diagnostic and cleaning the bulbs uo. Yup i used the same bulbs and everything. Keep it simple. Dont go buying anything until you inspect everything first. I hope this has helped someone out there. I almost missed it myself then i read the forum and all the clues were here. Just had to look. The contact wires should be cimpletely clean and on top of the plastic. Otherwise no connection. Happy hollidays peeps and good luck
if you can't dodge it, Ram it!
