What kind of heater core did you put in? Was it copper?

No I called the dealer mopar units are discontinued now. I have a spectra aluminum units. Lots of guys have the same one on YouTube. Same brand as my radiator

That could be part of your issue. Aluminum heater cores don't hold the heat as well as copper units. Still should get decent heat though

Ya I'm.not going through all of that again to find a copper one lol truck is not a daily. I just want some damn good heat

You won't get damn good but you should get decent heat with an aluminum one. Heater core hoses hot?
