i was wondering if anyone knows if the header gaskets for a viper will work on a truck v10 dealer said that they were discontuned none are around thank you for any help

 

Nope...V10 truck motor is a LOT different than the Viper motor. In fact, they don't share any of the same parts. [>:]

I don't think they've been discontinued though. I find it hard to believe that they'd discontinue a head gasket, especially since the motor has only been out of production 2 years.

www.chryslerpartsdirect.com still lists the headgaskets.

Maybe try another dealer. Or try an auto parts store. I'm almost positive Fel Pro makes replacement gaskets for the motor.

Oh...my bad. Do you need actual header gaskets? Or just exhaust mani gaskets? An auto parts store should be able to get the manifold gaskets.

Exhaust mani gaskets are still also available from Chrysler as well...

If you need exhaust header gaskets, you might want to try contacting someone at www.chryslerpartsdirect.com or www.mopartsracing.com Mopartsracing deals only in Mopar Performance parts, which would include headers.
