Was wondering what y’all would suggest a black paint job would cost from a reliable body shop, mine is peeling like it seems all of them do and would like to get a paint job on it. Thanks

 

Done right, $3000 - $5000. Probably more than the truck is worth.

 

Thats what I was thinking somewhere in there but the reason that it will eventually be done is because that it has a new rebuilt engine in it. Thanks

 

Does the truck need any body work? Also, where, in general, are you located?

 

You can save money by going to Maaco, just realize you'll be getting what you pay for.

 

The truck doesn’t need any body work it just needs a paint job, the truck would be painted in Virginia.

 

If the truck doesn't need any body work or rust repairs, I'd look at Maaco for a budget paint job. While it won't be perfect, you will have the truck all in one color, it will look decent and the paint will hold up within their warranty period.
