Default Gasket Leak?

After reading a recent post i came across something like "open the throttle plates and look down, if you see pools of oil you have a bad gasket." Well it just so happens that my seal between the air box and TB was cracked and 1/2 gone so i replaced it and at the same time cleaned the throttlebody as best i could while it was still on the truck....while doing so i noticed the inside of the intake was oily/small black spots....i assumed however that this was 88K miles on an engine and not an issue. Could my gasket "which one??" be bad or is that normal. There was by no means enough oil to be pooling but there was definitely some oil. Thanx
